Cactus Conflict

This painting depicts a cactus wren defending her territory against a couple of nosy lizards. The cactus in the foreground has been scorched by wildfire and is shedding its damaged outer layer. Behind the cactus wren, is a cactus that was untouched by fire and is green and vibrant. This painting is still wet.
